ABOUT THE S8 ELITE
The S8 ELITE continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) system is indicated for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) in adult patients.
The S8 ELITE CPAP system is intended for home and hospital use.
CAUTION
! In the US, Federal law restricts this device to sale by or on the order of a physician.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
The S8 ELITE is not a life support device and may stop operating during power failure or certain fault conditions. It should not be used by patients who are dependent on continuous therapy.
Positive airway pressure therapy may be contraindicated in some patients with the following
•severe bullous lung disease
•pneumothorax
•pathologically low blood pressure
