While the camera is connected to an AV device, nothing is displayed on the camera monitor. Also, you cannot adjust the volume on the camera. Adjust the volume on the AV device.

Check the operating manual of the AV device and select a suitable input terminal for connecting the camera.

If you intend to use the camera continuously for a long period, use of the optional AC adapter kit is recommended.

By default, the maximum resolution supported by both the AV device and camera is automatically selected. If it fails to play back images properly, change the setting in [HDMI Out] of the D2 menu.

Connecting the Camera to a Computer

Connect the camera to a computer using an USB cable. Make sure to have a commercially available USB cable equipped with a micro B terminal.

1Turn the computer on.

2Turn the camera off.

3 Open the terminal cover of the camera, and connect the USB cable to the USB terminal.

4Connect the USB cable to the USB port of the computer.

5Turn the camera on.

The camera is recognized as a removable disk.

The grip lamps of the camera blink slowly while the camera is connected with the computer via USB cable.

6Save the captured images to the computer.

7Disconnect the camera from the computer.
