Replacing the Fusing Unit

Use the following procedure to replace the Fusing Unit.

Warning: Wait until the Fusing Unit is completely cooled off before

attempting to handle it.

1Turn off machine power and unplug

its power cord.

2Open the Front Cover.

3Rotate the blue triangular knob next

to the Fusing Unit so the flat side

of the knob is facing the unit. Use

a coin to remove the metal screw

at the top of the Fusing Unit.
