PREPARING YOUR CROCK-POT®SLOW COOKER FOR USE

Before you use your slow cooker, wash the lid and stoneware with warm soapy water and dry thouroughly. NEVER immerse the heating base in water or any other liquids.

Assembly

The lid is hinged to the heating base, but functions as a removable lid when the stoneware is removed from the heating base. Remove hinged lid first, then remove stoneware.

NEVER attempt to lift or carry your slow cooker by the hinge and lid lift or lock. Use oversized easy grasp handles.

HOW TO USE YOUR SLOW COOKER

1.Place your food into the STONEWARE, cover with the LID, and plug in the unit. Your slow cooker has three temperature settings. LOW( I ) is recommended for slow ”all-day” cooking. One hour

on HIGH( II ) equals about 112 to 2 hours on LOW( I ). WARM( ) is ONLY for keeping already cooked food at the perfect serv-

ing temperature until you are ready to eat. DO NOT cook on the WARM( ) setting.

2.When cooking is done, unplug your slow cooker. Unplug and allow it to cool before cleaning.

NOTES:

Always cook with the LID on.

Do not store food in slow cooker STONEWARE.

Do not reheat food in your slow cooker.
