26.5.2 Configuring IPX QoS Policies

To configure an IPX QoS policy, perform the following tasks:
1. Identify the Layer-3 or 4 flow, and set the IPX QoS policy.
2. Specify the precedence for the fields within an IPX flow.

Setting an IPX QoS Policy

To set a QoS policy on an IPX traffic flow, enter the following command in Configure mode:

The RS default queuing policy, strict priority, is set on a system-wide basis. To change the queuing policy for a specific
port or ports to weighted-fair queuing, enter the following command in the Configure mode:
If you want to revert the RS queuing policy from weighted-fair to strict priority (default), enter the following command
in the Configure mode:
Set an IPX QoS policy. qos set ipx <name> <priority> <srcnet> | any <srcmask> | any <srcport>
| any <dstnet> | any <dstmask> | any <dstport> | any
<port list> | <interface-list> | any
Specify precedence for an IPX
QoS policy. qos precedence ipx [srcnet <num>] [srcnode <num>] [srcport
<num>] [dstnet <num>] [dstnode <num>] [dstport <num>] [intf
<num>]
Set queuing policy to
weighted-fair. qos set queuing-policy weighted-fair port
<port list> | all-ports
Revert the RS queuing policy to
strict priority. negate <line within active-configuration containing qos set
queuing-policy weighted-fair>
