Getting Ready

NOTE

To prevent malfunction and/or damage to speakers or other devices, always turn down the volume, and turn off the power on all devices before making any connections.

1. Connecting the Power Cord

NOTE

If the supplied AC adaptor is the ACB or ACK type, step 1 of the

procedure is not necessary.

1.Connect the supplied AC adaptor and AC cord.

2.Connect the AC adaptor to the DC In jack on the rear panel of the ep-90/70.

2. Securing the Cord

1.As shown in the diagram, loop the AC cord around the cord stay to fasten it in place.

2.Connect the AC cord to an AC outlet.

NOTE

To prevent the inadvertent disruption of power to your unit (should the plug be pulled out accidentally), and to avoid applying undue stress to the DC In jack, anchor the power cord using the cord hook, as shown in the illustration.

NOTE

Even if the cord is fastened, strong tension applied to the cord may cause it to be damaged or broken. Be careful not to pull the cord accidentally, or to apply strong pressure to it.
