7. Press the [Rec] button or the [Play/Stop] button to stop recording.

The indicators for the [Rec] and [Play/Stop] buttons are extinguished, and

recording stops.

8. Press the [Play/Stop] button.

Press the [Play/Stop] button again, and playback stops.

Recording a Performance Using Session Partner

You can also easily record session performances to the session partner.

About “USr” in the Display

When recording is stopped,

the “ ” indication

changes to “ ” in the display. The “.” in the display indicates that there is Performance material already recorded.

1. Select the Tone or Rhythm to be played (p. 28-p. 32).

2. Press the [Rec] button.

The [Rec] button’s indicator lights up, the [Play/Stop] button’s indicator

flashes, and the FP-2 is put into recording standby.

3. Recording starts when you begin the performance with

Session Partner (p. 28, p. 31).

The Rhythm starts to play, while simultaneously recording begins.

4. Press the [Play/Stop] button to stop recording.

5. Press the [Play/Stop] button.

Press the [Play/Stop] button again to stop playback.

The demo song cannot be played back while recorded performance data remains in the FP-2’s memory. Press [Rec] button to delete the performance data (p. 13).

If you want to record with the chord progression specified (p. 31), the chord is specified with a key in the left part of the keyboard, and recording begins.
