NTZLICHE HINWEISE ZUM MULCHMHEN

Das Mulchmähen lohnt sich. Sie erzielen einen besseren Mulch, wenn Sie folgende Hinweise beachten:

Das Mulchmähen vermeiden, wenn das Gras zu naß ist, da nasses Gras sich leicht verklumpt und der Mähvorgang beeinträchtigt wird.

Die Schnitthöhe der Messer nicht zu niedrig einstellen. Maximal 25mm bei jedem Mähvorgang abmähen. (Abb. 6)

Beim Mulchen nicht zu schnell mähen, damit das Gras gehäckselt wird.

Bei maximaler Drehzahl mulchen, da sonst das Mähgut nicht effizient gehäckselt wird.

Nur mit scharfen Schnittmessern mulchen. Durch die Konstruktion der Schnittmesser wird das Gras wiederholt geschnitten. Stumpfe Messer beeinträchtigen die Wirksamkeit.

Dafür sorgen, daß sich Grasklumpen weder an der Unterseite des Gehäuses noch an dem Mulchzusatzteil bilden. Die Schnittmesser sorgen für einen Luftstrom, der durch das Anhäufen von Grasklumpen verringert wird. Dadurch wird der Mulchvorgang gestört.

Ist eine Grasspur sichtbar, müssen die Schnittmesser höher eingestellt werden.

Bei nicht idealen Mähbedingungen oder bei sichtbaren Grasspuren folgende Maßnahmen erwägen:

1.Den Grasauffangteil anbringen, damit das Mähgut gesammelt wird;

2.Die sichtbaren Grasspuren noch einmal mähen;

3.Die Schnittmesser höher einstellen;

4.Das Mähgut zusammenfegen.
