Grounding an Outdoor Antenna
If the tuner is used with an outdoor antenna, the anten- na must be grounded against static charges and voltage surges. Consult the instructions that came with the antenna or contact the antenna manufacturer for proper installation instruc- tions. The adjacent dia- gram gives a general depiction of how an out- door antenna should be grounded. For complete guidelines on antenna grounding procedures, please consult the National Electrical Code, Section 810, ANSI/NFPA No. 70- 1984.
