8. Place the thermal carafe into the coffeemaker.

Coffee Brewing Hint: Preheating the carafe by filling and rinsing with hot water prior to brewing can assist in maintaining the overall temperature of your brewed coffee.

9. Press the On/Off Button On. The brewing light will illuminate.

10. When finished brewing, the coffeemaker will automatically shut off and the brewing light will go off.

Care And Cleaning

1.Warning:To avoid serious injury and electrical shock, it is essential to turn off and unplug your Saeco Renaissance XV and allow it to thoroughly cool before cleaning.

2.Wipe the exterior of both the thermal carafe and the coffeemaker with a damp cloth, then dry thoroughly.

3.Wash the inside of the thermal carafe and all removable parts of the coffeemaker by hand

in warm, sudsy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Do not wash in a dishwasher. Temperatures in a dishwasher vary and can permanently alter the structure of the removable parts

4.Never use harsh cleaning agents, especially those containing alcohol, solvents, or abrasive materials on your Renaissance XV.

5.Decalcify your machine on a regular basis.

HINT: Stainless Steel, if not cleaned periodically, can show water marks on the exterior over time. Be sure to wipe the exterior of the stainless steel thermal carafe.
