Troubleshooting

Before you make a call to Service center, be sure to check chart below because you will be charged for visits and consultations.

The Samsung Connect App is not searched on app market.

The Samsung Connect app supports Android OS 6.0 (mashmallow) or higher with third-party phones, Android OS 5.0 (lollipop) or higher with Samsung phones, and iOS 10.0 or higher.

After installing the Samsung Connect app, the air conditioner is not connected to the app.

Connect the air conditioner to a wireless router before using the app.

The SSID connection to the product is not made immediately.

If the connection is lost when the product is in AP mode, disable the "Smart network switch" function on your smart phone and try again.

The air conditioner is not connected to a wireless router.

Make sure that the SSID (name) of the wireless router is a combination of English and numeric characters. When the SSID contains any special characters, change its name.

The air conditioner is not connected at the server registration step.

After accessing the router settings page, disable the firewall of the router and try it again.

The country error occurred in the Samsung account during connection.

After being logged out, log in your previous Samsung account and the delete existing devices. Log in the system again with a new Samsung account and configure the settings.

A failure message appears while adding devices.

It may have failed temporarily due to obstacle or the distance from the place where the router is installed. Please try again later.

Turn off the air conditioner and then reconnect the power after 30 seconds. Then try again.

A guide message is appears on the Samsung Connect app screen.

Perform inspection by following the message.
