Choosing the installation location
Indoor unit
ffFor
ffWhere airflow is not blocked.
ffWhere cool air can be distributed throughout the room.
ffInstall the refrigerant piping length and the height difference of both indoor and outdoor units as indicated in the installation diagram.
ffWall that prevents vibration and is strong enough to hold the product weight. ffOut of the direct sunlight .
ff1 m or more away from the TV or radio (to prevent the screen from being distorted or noise from being generated). ffAs far away as possible from the fluorescent and incandescent lights (so that the remote controller can be operated well). ffA place where the air filter can be replaced easily.
ffDon’t install directly above electronics equipment as leaking water may cause damage if not serviced. (eg. Computers, TV, etc).
Outdoor Unit
ffWhere it is not exposed to strong wind ffWell ventilated and dustless places ffWhere possible keep out of sunlight and rain
ffWhere neighbors are not annoyed by operation sound or hot air
ffSolid wall or support that prevents vibration and is strong enough to hold the product weight ffWhere there is no risk of flammable gas leakage
ffWhen installing the unit at a high place be sure to fix the unit legs
ff3 m or more away from the TV or radio (to prevent the screen from being distorted or noise from being generated) ffInstall the unit horizontally
ffPlace where drained water does not become any problem.
ffPlace with no plants (especially climbing plants) and where small animal can not access.
ffOutdoor unit should not be place higher than 2.4 m or directly under eaves for accessibility for service and OH&S reasons.
•Avoid the following places to prevent malfunction of the unit
