Flash Adjustment Settings

The flash fires with automatic flash adjustments (except in themode), but it is possible to set it so that it fires without any adjustments.

1 Select [Flash Adjust] from the [ (Rec.)] menu. See Selecting Menus and Settings (p. 36).

2Select [Auto] or [Manual] and press the button.

Compensating the Flash Adjustment (+/- (Flash))

The flash adjustment can be changed when [Flash Adjust] is set to [Auto]. The settings can be adjusted in 1/3-stop increments in the range of –2EV to +2EV. You can enjoy flash photography with exposure adjustments with the combined use of the camera’s exposure compensation function.

1Press the / / button.

2Select (+/- (Flash)) using C or D on the multicontroller.

3Adjust the compensation using B or A on the multicontroller.

You can shoot the image right after selecting

settings by pressing the shutter button. This e.g. Flash Adjustment Settings screen will appear again, once the image is shot.

4Press the / / button.

5Shoot the image.
