1.PCM : Velg dette når du ikke har noe utstyr som kan dekode Dolby Digital-signaler (eller MPEG-2) Når du spiller av Dolby Digital-lydspor (eller MPEG-2), blir de digitale signalene konvertert til PCM- stereo.

Denne funksjonen handler om oppsett for valg av lydspor ved innspilling av NICAM STEREO- kringkasting (Multi-audio) på harddisk. Den har ingen innvirkning på den direkte DVD- innspillingen av et program.

1. Off : Både “DUAL L” (DOBBEL V) og “DUAL R”

(DOBBEL H) i kringkasting med flere lyder, er innspilt på harddisk. Titler innspilt på Harddisk under en slik oppsettstatus, kan ikke kopieres til V- modus (DVD-RW/-R).
