I video protetti da copia non possono essere registrati suquesto HDD e REGISTRATORE DVD.

Quando l’HDD e REGISTRATORE DVD riceve un segnale di protezione da copia, la registrazione siinterrompe e appare il seguente messaggio.

Informazioni sui segnali di protezione dacopia

Le trasmissioni televisive che contengono segnali dicontrollo copia possono avere uno dei tre seguenti tipi disegnale: Copy-Free, Copy-Once e Copy-Never. Perregistrare un programma di tipo Copy-Once, utilizzare unDVD-RW con CPRM in modo VR e DVD-RAM.

Dopo avere registrato una volta un programma “Copy Once”, non sarà possibile effettuare ulteriori registrazioni.

Protezione del contenuto dei supporti registrabili (CPRM, Content Protection for Recordable Media)

CPRM è un meccanismo che protegge il contenuto deisupporti registrabili.

Èsupportato da alcuni HDD e REGISTRATORI DVD, ma da pochi lettori DVD. OgniDVD registrabile vuoto ha un ID univoco a 64 bit incorporato nella BCA. Quando il contenuto protetto èregistrato sul disco, è possibile cifrarlo con un codificatore C2 a 56 bit (Cryptomeria) derivato dall’ID del DVD.

Durante la riproduzione, l’ID viene letto dalla BCA e utilizzato per generare la chiave che consentirà didecifrare il contenuto del disco.

Se il contenuto deldisco viene copiato su un altro supporto, l’ID saràassente o sbagliato e i dati non potranno essere decifrati.
