Setting the DVD Level

1.Press the ▲▼ buttons to select DVD Level, then press the OK or ► button.

2.Press the ▲▼ buttons to select the DVD Level you want, then press the OK or ► button.

For example, if you select up to 6, discs that contain 7, 8 will not play.

A larger number indicates that the programme is intended for adult use only.

Changing the Password

1.Press the ▲▼ buttons to select Change Password, then press the OK or ► button.

2.Enter the 4-digit password using the number buttons on the remote control. The “Confi rm the password” message will be displayed.

3.Enter your password again using the number buttons on the remote control.

SETTING UP THE RECORDING OPTIONS

Automatic Chapter Creator

(V-mode)

A DVD-Video consists of ‘Titles’ and ‘Chapters’. When you record one programme, it makes one Title. If you use this function, the Title will be divided into Chapters.

1.	With the unit in Stop mode, press the MENU button.	HDD & DVD RECORDER			Recording
2.	Press the ▲▼ buttons to select Setup, then press the OK or ►

4.	Press the ▲▼ buttons to select Chapter Creator, then press	Timer Record

•Off : Select if you do not want to use Automatic Chapter Creator.

•On : Select this option to use the Automatic Chapter Creator feature.

Press the EXIT button to exit the menu.

6.Press the REC button to start recording.

The message “Do you want to create the chapter menu after this recording?” is displayed.

7.Press the ◄ ► buttons to select OK, then press the OK button.

•A new chapter is created according to the selected recording mode. A chapter will be about 5 minutes long in XP and SP, and about 15 minutes long in LP and EP mode.
