Distanza e diaframma usando il flash incorporato

Fotografando col flash, esiste una relazione tra il numero guida, il diaframma e la distanza del soggetto. Calcolare se il flash non è sufficiente e regolare di conseguenza le condizioni di ripresa.

Calcolo del diaframma in base alla distanza

La formula seguente calcola il diaframma in base alla distanza di ripresa.

Diaframma F = Numero guida ÷ Distanza di ripresa

Esempio)

Con sensibilità [ISO 200] e distanza di ripresa 6.1 m, il diaframma risulta: F = 18.4 ÷ 6.1 = 3

Se il numero risultante (3, nell’esempio sopra) non è tra quelli previsti per il diaframma, normalmente si usa il più vicino numero inferiore (2,8, in questo caso).

Calcolo del campo di utilizzo in base al valore del diaframma

La formula seguente calcola la distanza tra flash e soggetto per diversi valori di diaframma.

Distanza massima del flash L1 =

Numero Guida ÷ Diaframma

Distanza minima del flash L2 =

Distanza massima del flash ÷ 5*

*Il valore 5 utilizzato nella formula è una costante riferita all’uso del solo flash incorporato.

Esempio)

Quando la sensibilità è [ISO200] e il diaframma F4

L1 = 18.4 ÷ 4 = 4.6 (m) circa

L2 = 4.6 ÷ 5 = 0.9 (m) circa

Quindi il flash può essere impiegato a distanze comprese tra 0.9 m e 4.6 m circa. Non è possibile utilizzare il flash quando la distanza del soggetto è inferiore a 0.8 m. Utilizzando il flash a distanze minori di 0.8 cm, si ottengono zone sfumate ai bordi della fotografia, la luce non è distribuita in modo uniforme e l’immagine può risultare sovraesposta.
