Blender

Blenderen er en av de tre faktorene som avgjør eksponeringen. Blenderhuset inneholder tynne metallplater som åpnes og lukkes for

åslippe gjennom lys til blenderen og inn i kameraet. Størrelsen på blenderen er relatert til mengden lys: En større blender slipper gjennom mer lys og en mindre blender slipper gjennom mindre lys.

Størrelsen på blenderen representeres av en verdi kjent som et ”F-nummer”. F-nummeret representerer brennvidden delt på objektivets diameter. Hvis for eksempel et objektiv med en brennvidde på 50 mm har f-nummeret F2, er diameteren til blenderen 25 mm (50 mm / 25 mm = F2). Jo mindre f-nummer, jo større blender.

Åpningen i blenderen er beskrevet som eksponeringsverdien (EV). Økning av eksponeringsverdien (+1 EV) betyr at mengden lys dobles. Reduksjon av eksponeringsverdien (-1 EV) betyr at mengden lys halveres. Du kan også bruke eksponeringskompensasjonsfunksjonen til å finjustere mengden lys ved å dele eksponeringsverdier inn i 1/2, 1/3 EV og så videre.
