Målingsmodus henviser til måten kameraet måler mengden lys.

Kameraet måler mengden lys i en scene, og i mange av modiene brukes målingen til å justere ulike innstillinger. Hvis for eksempel et motiv ser mørkere ut enn den faktiske fargen, tar kameraet et overeksponert bilde av det. Hvis et motiv ser lysere ut enn den faktiske fargen, tar kameraet et undereksponert bilde av det.

Lysstyrken og hele stemningen i bildet kan også bli påvirket av hvordan kameraet måler mengden lys. Velg en passende innstilling for et fotograferingsforhold.
