Støy

Feiltolkede piksler i et digitalt bilde som kan vises som malplasserte eller vilkårlige, lyse piksler. Støy forekommer vanligvis når det tas bilder med høy følsomhet eller når følsomhet angis automatisk på et mørkt sted.

NFC (Near Field Communication)

NFC er et sett med standarder for radiokommunikasjon på svært kort avstand. Du kan bruke NFC-aktiverte enheter til å aktivere funksjoner eller utveksle data med andre enheter.

NTSC (National Television System Committee)

En fargekodingsstandard for videoer som vanligvis brukes i Japan, Nord- Amerika, Filippinene, Sør-Amerika, Sør-Korea og Taiwan.

Optisk zoom

Dette er en generell zoom som kan forstørre bilder med et objektiv og som ikke reduserer kvaliteten på bilder.

PAL (Phase Alternate Line)

En fargekodingsstandard for videoer som brukes i mange land i Afrika, Asia, Europa og Midt-Østen.

Kvalitet

Et uttrykk for komprimeringsgraden som brukes i et digitalt bilde. Bilder av høy kvalitet har lavere komprimeringsgrad, noe som vanligvis resulterer i en større filstørrelse.

RAW (CCD-rådata)

De originale, ubehandlede dataene som samles direkte fra kameraets bildesensor. Hvitbalanse, kontrast, metning, skarphet og andre data kan manipuleres med redigeringsprogramvare før bildet komprimeres til et standard filformat.

Oppløsning

Antall piksler som finnes i et digitalt bilde. Bilder med høy oppløsning inneholder flere piksler og viser vanligvis flere detaljer enn bilder med lav oppløsning.
