Corrélation entre la longueur de focale, l’angle et la perspective

La longueur de focale, ou distance focale, exprimée en millimètres, correspond à la distance séparant le milieu de l’objectif du foyer de mise au point. Elle influe sur l’angle et la perspective des images prises. Une longueur de focale courte génère un angle de vue étendu, ce qui permet de photographier un plan large. Une longueur de focale longue génère un angle de vue étroit, ce qui permet de photographier au téléobjectif.
