Blitz

Lys er et af de vigtigste komponenter, når du tager billeder. Men du har ikke altid lys nok i alle situationer. Brug af en blitz gør det muligt at kompensere for det manglende lys og skabe forskellige effekter.

Blitzen, også kendt som strobelys eller hurtigaktiveret lys, sørger for tilstrækkelig eksponering under forhold med lav belysning. Den er ligeledes anvendelig i situationer med meget lys. Du kan f.eks. anvende blitzen til at give lys, når et motiv er i skyggen eller bruge den til tydeligt at optage både motivet og baggrunden i modlys.

Ledetal for blitz

Modelnummeret for en blitz henviser til blitzens effekt, og den maksimale mængde af det genererede lys repræsenteres af en værdi, der kaldes for et "ledetal". En blitz med et højere ledetal udsender en større lysmængde end en blitz med et lavere ledetal. Ledetallet beregnes ved at gange afstanden fra blitzen til motivet med blændeværdien, når ISO-følsomheden er sat til 100.

Ledetal = Afstand fra blitz til motiv x blændeværdi

Blændeværdi = Ledetal/afstand fra blitz til motiv

Afstand fra blitz til motiv = Ledetal/blændeværdi

Hvis du kender blitzens ledetal, kan du estimere en omtrentlig blitz-til- motiv-afstand, hvis du indstiller blitzen manuelt. Hvis f.eks. en blitz har et ledetal på 20 og er 4 meter væk fra motivet, er den optimale blændeværdi F5.0.
