Brændvidde

Afstanden fra midten af objektivet til dets fokuspunkt (i millimeter). Dette tal udtrykkes i et interval: Den mindste brændvidde til den

En større brændvidde resulterer i en mere snæver synsvinkel, og motivet bliver forstørret. En mindre brændvidde resulterer i bredere synsvinkler.
