To exit Silent Mode:

changes to the Silent Mode icon ( standby mode. ), and your phone returns to standby mode.

To exit Silent Mode:

While in Silent mode and standby mode, press and hold

Vibrate Mode. “Exit Silent Mode” briefly appears in the display, the former ringer icon returns, and your phone returns to

standby mode.

Vibrate Mode

In standby mode, repeatedly press the Volume key ( The Volume key is on the left side of phone. ) down until “Vibrate” appears in the display.

Speakerphone Mode

Speakerphone mode lets you use your phone hands-free and/or share calls with others.

Entering Speakerphone Mode — In standby mode, press and hold

the Speakerphone key (Speakerphone Mode ) — on the right side of the phone.

Exiting Speakerphone Mode — In Speakerphone mode, press and

hold the Speakerphone key (hold the Speakerphone key ().).

Hands-free Mode

Hands-free mode lets you operate your phone remotely, without touching it other than to turn it on or off.

To place your phone in Hands-free mode, do one of the following:

Connect an optional wired headset.

– or –

Pair and connect an optional Bluetooth technology headset or hands- free car kit. (For more information, refer to “Add New Device” on page 91.)

Camera Mode

Camera mode lets you take pictures with your phone’s camera. In Camera mode, you can also adjust the resolution and appearance of your pictures.

Entering Camera Mode — In standby mode, press and hold the Camera key (Hands-free Mode) — on the right side of the phone.

Exiting Camera Mode — Press •Connect an optional wired headset..

Note: You can also enter Camera mode by pressing Menu ( Camera Mode ) and selecting

Multimedia Camera.
