Access the keypad settings; Tap and hold 
3to switch to Handwriting mode, enter text by voice, or access the clipboard.
4Clear your input.
5Start a new line.
6Insert a full stop; Open the symbol panel (tap and hold).
7Insert a space.
When Predictive text (XT9) mode is activated, you can use continuous input, which allows you to enter text by sweeping on the keypad. ► p. 156
When entering text with the 3x4 keypad, you can use the following modes:
