Setting the Exposure
ƈThis allows you to deliberately overexpose (brighten) or under-expose (darken) your picture. You can
adjust the EV Compensation from -2 to +2 (EV) in increments of 1/2 EV or 1/3 EV.
Select 1/2 EV or 1/3 EV in [EV Steps] in the [CUSTOM1 MENU] menu. (p.133)
1. Set the compensation with the front e-dial while the button
is pressed.

2. Confirm the compensation value in the viewfinder.

ƃExposure compensation is not available when the exposure mode is set to (Auto),
M(Manual), B(Bulb) and X(Flash synchro) mode.
ƃThe exposure compensation cannot be cancelled by turning the camera off or by setting any
other exposure mode.
ƃThe is set to 0 when EV button and Green button are pressed at the same time.
