Manual Dial
You can assign one frequently used function (focus, aperture, shutter speed, or exposure) to the Manual Dial and then use the Manual Dial to set that function during recording.
1.Touch the Menu ( 
) tab Other setting (
) “Manual Dial”
2.Touch the desired submenu item.
3.To exit the menu, touch the Return ( 
) tab.

Submenu items
•Focus: Focus function is assigned to the Manual Dial.
•Aperture: Aperture function is assigned to the Manual Dial.
•Shutter: Shutter function is assigned to the Manual Dial.
•EV: Exposure value function is assigned to the Manual Dial.
REC Lamp
You can set the REC lamp function on so that the REC lamp lights up when you are recording.
1.Touch the Menu (

Submenu items
•Off: The recording lamp does not light up durng recording.
•On: The recording lamp on the front of the camcorder lights up while you are recording, indicating that the camcorder is recording a video or photo.
