Kui suvandi Source AutoSwitch olekuks on seadistatud On, otsitakse aktiivse video jaoks monitori videoallikat automaatselt. Valik Primary Source aktiveeritakse, kui praegust videoallikat ei tunta ära.

Valik Secondary Source aktiveeritakse, kui ühtki esmast videoallikat pole saadaval.

Kui ei tuvastata esmast ega teisest sisendallikat, otsib kuvar kaks korda aktiivset allikat, kontrollides mõlemal korral esmast ja teisest allikat. Kui mõlemad otsingud nurjuvad, naaseb kuvar esimesele videoallikale ja kuvab teate signaali puudumise kohta.
