Using the Software

available in the Mouse Emulation mode. You can adjust the value of “Delay” in “Right Click Settings”. Note: The higher the “Delay” value, the longer the right-click menu pop- up time. "Delay" is displayed in "milliseconds." “Area” is used for adjusting the jitter range of the touch surface within a limit of error (unit: pixel). The higher the "Area" value, the wider the range of jitter. The Right Click menu will pop up when the finger contacts the screen for a while within the pre-set range of time and jitter.

7.Enable Double Click

It is similar to the mouse's double click function. Obtain the best performance regarding Double Click by setting the "Double Click Settings" properties. "Speed" is displayed in "milliseconds." The higher the speed value, the longer the effective time between the two clicks of a double–click event. “Area” is used for amplifying or reducing the Double Click area. The double-click function is available in the "Click on touch," "Click on Release" and "Mouse Emulation" modes.

8.Enable Delay Touch

After this function is enabled, high speed touch or scratch on the screen becomes inef- fective. This function is very effective to maintain a steady touch on a specified area for a certain amount of time. It can be used for banking and industrial control applications, such as ATM and switches on industrial equipment; it is available in Click on touch and Click on Release modes. The “Delay Touch Setting” properties can be set selectively. The higher the value (unit: millisecond), the longer the touch-delay time; the “Area” value is used to adjust the effective touch area of the touch panel, on which the finger stays. The higher the value (unit: pixel), the wider the effective area.

9.Drag Delay

This function allows a drag event to occur only after a certain predefined drag delay time has elapsed. If the object cannot be precisely selected or the cursor jitters, adjust the value of "Drag" to delay dragging. It is displayed in milliseconds.

Note

According to the hardware statuses and external factors, you can flexibly set related param- eters to achieve the best performance. Refer to the attachment later in this manual.

Serial port Settings

1.After installing the driver of the serial port is finished, choose “Start”——“All Pro- grams”——“IRTOUCHSYSTEMS”——“Serial Port Settings”. The name of the IR touch device installed and the number of serial ports are shown in the list. Choose [Install] when some serial ports are available or choose [Remove] to uninstall the driver if you don't want to use the touchscreen.
