Basic Features for the TV

•• Expert Pattern

Use the Expert Pattern function to calibrate the picture. If the OSD menu disappears or a menu other than the Picture menu is opened, the product saves the calibration and the Expert Pattern screen disappears.

Off: Turns the Expert Pattern function off.

Pattern1: This test screen demonstrates the effect of the display settings on shades of grey and black.

Pattern2: This test screen demonstrates the effect of the display settings on colours.

✎✎After selecting Pattern1 or Pattern2, you can adjust any of the advanced settings for desired effect. ✎✎While the Expert Pattern is running, the product does not output sound.

✎✎Available only when the Picture Mode is set to Movie or Standard in DTV(over 720p), Component, and HDMI modes.

•• Motion Lighting

Adjust brightness levels according to on-screen picture motion to reduce power consumption. ✎✎Only available in Standard mode.

✎✎When you change the Backlight, Contrast or Brightness, the product sets the Motion Lighting to Off.
