Setting the Program AE

Program AE modes are preset automatic exposure modes based upon			Program AE
an internal computer program. It allows you to adjust the aperture

1.	Turn the Mode Dial to Movie mode.	F	AUTO
2.	Press the [POWER] button to turn on the Miniket		AE

3.Press the [MENU] button.

4.Move the joystick left / right to select <Program

AE>.

5. Select an option by moving the joystick up / 4 down and then press the joystick (OK).

Auto	Balances exposure and shutter speed to get the
	best results automatically.
Sports	For recording fast-moving objects. It is suitable
	for sporting events and recording the outside
	from inside of a vehicle.
	Compensates for a subject that appears too
Spotlight	bright under strong direct light such as a	5
	spotlight. It is suitable for recording conditions
	such as concerts and school performances.
Beach /	When the light is very strong, such as on a
Snow	beach or in the snow.

6. Press the [MENU] button to exit the menu.

✤<Macro> setting is limited when you are using Program AE (refer to page 102).

✤Regarding <White Balance>, <Macro>, <Focus> and <Wind Cut> use with <Program AE>, refer to page 102.

✤While the menu screen is displayed, pressing the [Record / Stop] button will exit the menu.
