•Battery must be properly installed inside 706SC to charge it. Handset power cannot be turned on without a battery installed.
•Do not charge the battery under the following conditions:
-Places with ambient temperature below 5°C or above 40°C
-Places with high levels of humidity, vibrations or dust that could lead to handset malfunctions
-Near radios or televisions that may suffer interference
•706SC/charger normally warm from charging, but if too
hot to touch stop charging; contact Customer Service
•Do not leave battery uncharged. Charge battery at least once every six months; otherwise, battery may become unusable.
•When charger is not in use, unplug it from electrical outlet or cigarette lighter socket.
■Battery Life
•The following scenarios may reduce battery operating time:
-Using/storing 706SC in places with an ambient temperature below 5°C or above 40°C.
-Using 706SC under poor signal conditions or leaving it on when handset is
-Charging battery when handset, battery and charger terminals are impaired by dust or grime.
•Battery life is limited; replace if operating time is significantly reduced.
■Battery Disposal
Do not dispose of exhausted batteries with ordinary refuse. Tape over battery terminals before disposal or take to a SoftBank shop. Follow any and all local regulations regarding battery disposal.
