USIM PINs

USIM Card has two (4- to 8-digit) security codes: PIN & PIN2.

PIN & PIN2

PIN	Prevent unauthorised use of 706SC by others
PIN2	Required for authentication for online services, etc.

•PIN and PIN2 are both set to "9999" by default.

•PIN and PIN2 can be changed.

•When PIN Lock is enabled, PIN is required each time 706SC is turned on with USIM Card inserted.

PIN Lock & Cancellation (PUK/PUK2 Code)

Incorrectly entering either PIN or PIN2 three times consecutively, activates PIN Lock and limits handset function access. Enter PIN Unblocking Key Code (PUK or PUK2 Code) to release PIN Lock.
