•t, ThePIP(Picture-in-Picture)featureworks in combinationwiththe DIGITALZOOMfunctionby using asmall,
superimposedscreento showan imagethat iswider than the imagebeing recorded.
Thisshould helpyou to get a more clear idea ofwhat you are recording,
ThePiP function works in CAMERA mode on{y.
1. Set the power switch to CAMERA mode.
2. Turnon DIGITALZOOM.(see page 35)
3. Pressthe MENUON/OFFbutton, the MENUList
willbe displayed.
4. Turnthe UP/DOWNdialuntil PIIR.........OFFis highlighted,
5. PressENTER, PiP ON anda smallscreen
shouldappear.
6. Checkwhich part youare recordingonthe PIPscreen, and turn the
Zoombuttonto "T" positionto activatethe DIGITALZOOMmode,
• Startrecording by pressingthe START/STOPbutton
whenthe portion you want to recordappears,
7. SettingPIR..._ONto OFFin the MENUwillmake the small
screendisappearand switch the PIP mode off,
Notes: • When you use thePIP function whilemakinga recording,
thePIP screen will be recorded onthe Tape.
• The MENU ON/OFF function will not operate in EASYmode,
• PIP function will not operate in DSEmode,
