Alerts

Set the Gear to vibrate when it is disconnected from your mobile device. On the Settings screen, tap Connections Alerts.

Flight mode

This disables all wireless functions on your device. You can use only non-network services. On the Settings screen, tap Connections Flight mode.

Make sure the device is turned off during takeoff and landing. After takeoff, you can use the device in flight mode if allowed by aircraft personnel.

Data usage

Keep track of your data usage amount and customise the settings for the limitation. On the Settings screen, tap Connections Data usage.

Mobile data: Set the Gear to use data connections on any mobile network.

Data usage limit: Set a limit for mobile data usage.

Data usage cycle: Set a data reset cycle to monitor data usage between usage periods.

Start date: Set the start date of the data usage cycle.

Usage details: View your total data usage for the current cycle.

Location

Set the Gear to allow apps to use your current location information. On the Settings screen, tap Connections Location.

Tap the Location switch to activate it and then select a method to collect your location data.
