ALARM FUNCTIONS

The alarm functions include the alarm recording, alarm checking alarm clear, and alarm counter memory. (Refer to Alarm Recording, page 32)

CHECKING OF ALARM RECORDING

ALARM COUNTER MEMORY

1 Press the MENU button

1. Place the ¤ sign in the “ALARM REC SETUP/RECALL” position using the SHIFT button.

2.Press the SHIFT ¤ button, then the “ALARM RECALL” displays.

3.Press the MENU button after checking.

When an alarm recording is not made, there is no display on the screen display.

The ALARM RECALL screen

displays the “6” most recent

alarm recorded events with the date and time of each.

If the alarm is recorded at 12:00, 13:00, 15:00, 17:00 and 19:00 on December 25, 2001.

2 Turn the SHUTTLE ring clockwise or counterclockwise

When turning the shuttle ring the tape moves forward (backward). When it arrives at the alarm recording in only L6H mode encounted first, it pauses for 5 seconds and then stops.

Display of operating time

When the front display indicates , press the COUNTER button twice.

The operating time is then indicated on the front display. example) When operated for 11 hours.

HOUR

If the counter button is not entered within 5 seconds when checking the operating time, the status of the front display returns to the state prior to checking the display of operating time.

REFERENCE

The alarm sounds five times in the following cases;

When a tape without an erasure prevention tab is inserted.

When the series signal is entered. (long sound)

When the alarm signal is entered.

When the record button is pressed.

When pressing TIMER button.

When pressing the REC button with the tape ejected.

When the alarm signal is entered during alarm recording.

The alarm sounds continuously in the following cases;

When the tape arrives at its end in the recording mode.

When the alarm signal is entered for alarm recording.

When the alarm recording is ended the alarm is released.

The alarm is released when pressing any button

When the alarm signal is entered with the tape ejected. (long sound)

Auto repeat recording

When the rewinding is completed after the tape arrives at its end, recording is restarted.

(The alarm sounds during rewinding only.)

If alarm recording is made, tape is ejected.
