Protokoly na zabezpečenie siete

Televízor podporuje iba nasledujúce protokoly na zabezpečenie bezdrôtovej siete a nemôže sa pripojiť k bezdrôtovým smerovačom, ktoré nie sú certifikované:

•• Režimy overovania: WEP, WPAPSK, WPA2PSK

•• Typy šifrovania: WEP, TKIP, AES

Ak je bezdrôtový smerovač nastavený na režim Pure High-throughput (Greenfield) 802.11n a typ šifrovania je nastavený WEP alebo TKIP, televízory Samsung Smart TV nebudú podporovať pripojenie v súlade s novými certifikačnými špecifikáciami štandardu Wi-Fi.

Ak bezdrôtový smerovač podporuje funkciu WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup), k sieti sa môžete pripojiť prostredníctvom funkcie PBC (Push Button Configuration) alebo PIN (Personal Identification Number). Funkcia WPS automaticky nakonfiguruje identifikátor SSID a kľúč WPA.

V závislosti od nastavenia siete existujú tri hlavné spôsoby pripojenia televízora k sieti pomocou kábla. Sú znázornené nižšie:
