Setting the V-Chip

To change the password

1	Press MENU. The TV menu screen will appear.
2	Press or to select
	(LOCKS) menu.
	LOCKS
	V- CHIP SET
	NEW PASSWORD

		:SELECT	:ADJUST
3 Press ▲ or ▼ to display the
password entering mode.
Use Number buttons (0-9)		LOCKS
to enter your password,		PASSWORD
then press ENTER. The
LOCKS menu appears.
		[0 - 9] : SELECT	ENTER : SET
			EXIT : END
4 Press ▲ or ▼ to select
“NEW PASSWORD”,
then press	or .	L O C K S
		V- C H I P	O F F
		V- CHIP SET
		V- CHIP SET (DTV)
		NEW PASSWORD
		:SELECT	:ADJUST

5 Enter a new password using Number buttons (0-9), then press ENTER.

LOCKS
NEW PASSWORD
[0 - 9] : SELECT	ENTER : SET
	EXIT : END

6 Enter the same password again to confirm, then press

ENTER.

LOCKS
CONFIRM PASSWORD
[0 - 9] : SELECT	ENTER : SET
	EXIT : END

7 Press EXIT to return to the normal screen.
