2Set the pre-alarm recording.

1 Turn the J-dial to select "ENABLED" for ALARM

RECORDING, and then turn the S-dial clockwise. The "***" field of the PRE-ALARM RECORDING switches to "OFF".

2Turn the J-dial to select "PRE-ALARM RECORDING", and then turn the S-dial clockwise.

The "OFF" indicator of PRE-ALARM RECORDING starts blinking.

3Turn the J-dial, turn "ON" the PRE-ALARM RECORDING, and then turn the S-dial clockwise. The "****" displayed at the REC RATE and DURATION fields changes to numbers, and a <WARNING> screen is displayed, with "NO" blinking.

REC RATE: A 12.5FPS, DURATION: 1MIN

4Turn the J-dial, select "YES", and turn the S-dial clockwise.

The cursor moves to "REC RATE".

5Turn the S-dial clockwise.

6Turn the J-dial to select the REC RATE (example: 8.333), and then turn the S-dial clockwise. Repeat the same procedure to set the DURATION (example: 20SEC).

After the arrow symbol (=>) the number of alarms that can be recorded is displayed.

REC RATE: A 8.333FPS, DURATION: 20SEC=> (00694 ALARMS CAN BE RECORDED)

3Press the EXIT/OSD button.

"PRE" appears in the operation display area.

When an alarm is detected, the "ALARM" field starts blinking.

1Turn the J-dial to the select ALARM TRIGGER selections and turn the S-dial clockwise.

The "ALARM" starts blinking.

2Turn the J-dial, select "ALARM". Then turn the S-dial clockwise.

The cursor moves back to the ALARM RECORDING field.

The signals that can be used as alarms are of two types: signals detected at the ALARM IN terminal switches, and alarm signals superimposed on the coaxial signals coming from cameras.
