8Video loss alarm

When the video signal feed is lost due to one of the following reasons, a buzzer sounds and the word "VIDEO LOSS" is displayed on the screen.

1.Wire breakdown

2.Disconnection of video terminal

3.Loss of power on a camera or other intermediary equipment

9Disk full alarm

During a recording, an alarm can be set to give off a buzzer sound, along with a message on the display.

10Fan error / Disk error

A beep will sound when an error occurs on the fan or the disk.

11Time / Date search

Searching recorded pictures is available by specifying the time and date.

12Alarm search

A list of up to 8 stored recordings (alarm number, recording date and time) along with a preview window offers the user an easy way of searching and playing back a particular event. You can easily switch to a full screen display and display a still picture, or perform a fast-forward search simply by turning the shuttle or jog dial.

13Alarm thumbnail search

It is possible to display up to 9 thumbnails for video recordings in the alarm area along with their respective alarm numbers. This feature allows the user to search for a particular event without playing back each recording.

14Alarm log search

A search is narrowed using a log file by selecting the time, minute, month, and the day of the week on a GUI, and

then the desired scene can be selected.

15Motion detection search

By setting a motion sensor on the screen, any scene with motion in the specified area will be brought up for further

review.

18Clock adjustment

If multiple Recorders are used, using this feature forces timers on all machines to be synchronized to the master Recorder once a day at the preset time.

Digital Video Recorder

19 Security lock

To prevent unauthorized manipulation or accidental operation while recording, the user can lock the functionality of the operation buttons, the jog dial, and the shuttle ring. There are two types of security lock: a quick method security lock and a 4 digit security lock.

20 Auto Delete Function

The allows the user to specify the storage period for each video clip, from one day up to 99 days.

When the specified period expires, the data will be automatically deleted.

2130-day memory back-up

A built-in lithium battery is used to protect various DVR settings for 30 days.

22Lifetime counter

The monitor screen displays "used-time" counter (total power-on time.)

An alarm is indicated by a beep.

24SMTP

An alarm can trigger an e-mail message sent to a preset address.

25Series Connection

DSR series facilitates channel by channel series connection between multiple units through the connection of each channel's VIDEO IN/OUT terminals, along with the connection of the SERIES IN/OUT terminals. When the master DVR runs out of storage capacity, recording automatically switches to the second DVR and onward to enable unlimited expansion of storage capacity and recording time.
