Programming a Confidential ID

Program a Confidential ID to print Confidential Reception.⇒ p.7 “Confi- dential Transmission”

Limitation

❒If you do not program a Confiden- tial ID, you cannot receive a confi- dential transmission.

Note

❒A Confidential ID can be any four digit numeric code except for 0000.

A Press the {User Tools/Counter} key.

B Press [Facsimile Features].

Facsimile Features menu is shown.

C Select [Key Operator Tools].

D Select [Program Confidential ID].

Note

❒If "Program Confidential ID" is not shown, press [U Prev.] or [T

Next].

E Enter an ID with the number keys.

Note

❒If you make a mistake, press the

{Clear/Stop} key or [Clear] and try again.

F Press [OK].

Note

❒To cancel programming an ID, press [Cancel]]. The display will return to step D

G Press the {User Tools/Counter} key.
