Basic TransmissionThis section describes how to send fax
documents created using PC applica-
tions.
Open the application document you
want to send or create a new docu-
ment, and then perform the following
procedure.

AOn the [File] menu, click [Print].

BClick [LAN-Fax M1] in [Printer Name],
and then click [OK].
Note
❒The setting method may differ
depending on the application
you are using. In all cases, select
[LAN-Fax M1] for the printer.

CSpecify the destination.
You can select the destination from
Address Book or directly enter the
fax number.
Note
❒You can select a line to use in
the "Line" list box.
❒To specify the destination from
Address Book, you must pro-
gram destinations in advance.

DSpecify options.
If you do not want to specify op-
tions, go to step E.
Attaching a Cover Sheet

ASelect the [Attach a Cover Sheet]
checkbox.

•Document Server⇒ p.102 “Us-

for this machine must be the
same as the one entered in
