Cheetah 73LP Product Manual, Rev. E 43
9.0 Interface requirements
This section partially describes the inte rface requirements as implemented on the drives.
9.1 General description
This section describes in essentially general terms the interface requirements supported by the Cheetah 73LP.
No attempt is made to describe all of the minute details of co nditions and constraints that must be considered
by designers when designing a system in which this family of drives can properly op erate. Seagate declares
that the drives operate in accordance with the appropriate ANSI Stan dards referenced in various places herein,
with exceptions as noted herein or in the Seagate

SCSI Interface Manual

, part number 75789509.
9.2 SCSI interface messages supported
Table 4 lists the messages supported by the SCSI-2 and SCSI-3 modes of the Cheetah 73LP family drives.
