The line below the setting of 3 on each of the dials indicates normal tension for 4 thread_ or

3 threads serging, however, an alternate adjust- ment of the thread tension may be required

depending on the type of fabric and thread being used.

Refer to 3ages 22 and 23 for the adjustment.
