onthe face of the console, remove it.
STEP-BY-STEP CONSOLE OPERATION
The treadmill consolefeatures a manual modeand four
workout programs. When the manual mode is selected,
the speed and incline of the treadmill can be changed
witha touch of a button. As you exercise, the four dis-
playswill provide continuous exercise feedback; When
oneof the workout programs is selected, the console
willautomatically control the speed ofthe treadmill as it
guides you through an effective workout.
In.addition, the convenient pulse sensor allows you to
monitor your heart rate. You can measure your heart
ratebefore you begin exercising, during your workout,
and againwhen you finish.
Beforeoperating the
console, make sure
that the on/off
switch, located near
the power cord, isin
the "on" position.

Next, plug in the power cord (see HOW TO PLUG IN
THE POWER CORD on-page 8).Note: If the key is in
-the _:_nsole, mmi_te-R_before plugging inthe power
cord.
Step ontothe foot rails ofthe treadmill. Find the clip
attached to the key (see the drawing above), and slide
the cliponto the waistband of your clothing. Follow the
steps below tooperate the console.
