Using only Staple and Hole Punch

When installing the optional inserter, you can use only the finishing mode (staple and hole punch). In that case, set it with the control panel on the inserter side.

1 Place paper in the inserter (optional) . Page 6-9 - In this condition, the start lamp lights in green.

When saddle stitch is selected, place the paper with the pages facing up as shown on the right.

Set with the control panel of the inserter.

- If you desire hole punch, press the

key on the panel

below. The lamp of the hole punch lights.

- If you desire staple or saddle stitch, press the key. (The lamp of the selected mode lights.)

-Saddle stitch can be used only when the saddle stitch finisher is installed (with the AR-F12).

-You can use a combination of hole punch and staple, except saddle stitch.

Press the

START key.

- At the beginning of the operation the start lamp flashes in green.

After the end of the operation all the lamps which have lit up, go off.
