When copies have not been stapled in the staple mode, the following message may be shown on the

display:

Examine stapler

This means that staples have become jammed. Remove them as described below.

6. REMOVING JAMMED STAPLES (OPTIONAL)

2Holding the knob, lower part A.

3Remove any jammed staples using your fingertip

or something sharp.

4Holding the knob, return part A to its original

position.

Stapling area

Caution

Do not touch the stapling area.

The stapler could injure you.
