The connection cord is not included. Purchase a commercially available cord as shown below.

To the line output jack

„Listening to the playback sounds from VCR, DVD, etc.

1Use a connection cord to connect the VCR, DVD, etc. to the VIDEO/ AUX jacks.

When using video equipment, connect the audio output to this unit and the video output to a television.

2Press the ON/STAND-BY button to turn the power on.

3Press the VIDEO/AUX button.

4Play the connected equipment.

Note:

To prevent hum interference, place this unit away from a television.

„To record on a tape

1 Insert a cassette in the TAPE 2 cassette compartment.

2 Press the VIDEO/AUX button.

3 Press the REC PAUSE () button.

4 Press the / (TAPE 2 ) button.

5 Play the VCR, DVD, etc.

„Headphones

zBefore plugging in or unplugging the headphones, reduce the volume.

zBe sure your headphones have a 1/8" (3.5 mm) diameter plug and are between 16 ohms and 50 ohms impedance. The recommended impedance is 32 ohms.

zPlugging in the headphones disconnects the speakers automatically. Adjust the volume using the VOLUME buttons.
