Speaker connection

Connect the speaker wires to the SPEAKER terminals as shown.

Front speakers

Connect the black wire to the minus () terminal, and the red wire to the plus (+) terminal.

Center speaker and rear speakers

Connect the wire with the white line to the minus () terminal and the plain wire to the plus (+) terminal.

Caution:

Do not mistake the right channel for the left channel when connecting the speakers to the unit.

The right speaker is the one on the right side when you are facing the front of the unit.

Do not let the bare speaker wires touch each other as this may damage the amplifier and/or speakers.

Do not allow any objects to fall into or to be placed in the bass reflex ducts.

Do not stand or sit on the speakers. If the speakers fall or collapse, you may be injured.

When you use speakers other than the speakers included with this unit, if their impedance is lower than that specified for each speaker type, the unit may be damaged.

Front speakers: 6 ohms

Center speaker: 6 ohms

Rear speakers: 12 ohms

Subwoofer

To enhance the Home Theater experience, you can add a com- mercially available external subwoofer with a built-in amplifier to this unit.

Use an RCA cord to connect the external subwoofer with a built-in amplifier to the SUBWOOFER jack on the rear of the unit.

Caution:

Do not allow any objects to fall into or to be placed in the bass reflex ducts.

Do not stand or sit on the speakers. If the speakers fall or collapse, you may be injured.

The front speakers and the center speaker are magnetically shielded to prevent interference to your TV picture.

Therefore, they do not affect the display even if you use them near the TV.

However, some color variation may occur, depending on the type of the TV used.

If color variations occur...

Turn off the TV (from the power switch).

After 15-30 minutes, turn the TV on again.

If the color variation is still present...

Move the speakers further away from the TV.

Note:

If any kind of magnet or an electromagnet is placed too close to the TV monitor and the system, irregular colors may appear on the TV monitor screen.
