Input Label

You can label each input source with a custom description.

1Press b to select the desired input source.

2Go to “MENU” > “Setup” > “Input Label”.

3 Press a/b/c/dto select each character

NOTE

The label can be six characters or less.

When you want to set an input source label of less than six characters, select “END” to set the name.

Skipping specified inputs

If complex adjustments are made so that the settings cannot be restored to normal, you can reset the settings to the factory preset values.

1Go to “MENU” > “Setup” > “Reset”.

2Press c/dto select “Yes”, and then press

;.

After the reset has completed, the power shuts off and then comes back on. The screen will have returned to its original settings.

NOTE

PIN input is required when executing “Reset”. The default PIN is “1234”. To change the PIN setting, refer to Password/ Parental lock settings (Page 22). To clear the PIN setting (PIN input will no longer be needed), refer to CLEARING THE PIN (Page 24).

Identification

You can check the TV ID on the screen for reporting to customer service.

Software update

If you use DVB-T, the TV automatically receives the update service and updates new software. When a confirmation message is received about the software update on the screen, follow the screen prompts.

CAUTION

Do not disconnect the AC cord when the software update is in progress. If you have the problem, ask qualified service personnel.

CLEARING THE PIN

If you lose or forget your PIN, you can clear the PIN following these steps.

1Go to “MENU” > “Setup” > “Child Lock”.

2Enter the four-digit number on page 32 to clear your PIN.

NOTE

As a precautionary measure, make a note of your PIN on the back of this operation manual, cut it out and keep it in a safe place that children cannot reach.
